Louis de Grandmaison was born in Havre in the Seine-Maritime region of France in 1927. Grandmaison studied in Paris under the influential artist Andre Lhote. Painted abstract geometric forms; a vibrant colourist who exhibited mostly in Paris but also in the USA.
